Our History
Since our establishment in 1990, Abasa Academy has been dedicated to providing quality education to students from all over the world. We started as a small language school in Kolkata and have since expanded to offer a wide range of programmes in various fields. We are proud of our history and the impact we have made on the lives of our students.

সংগঠন কর্ণধার শ্রী সোমেশ নাথ, শান্তিনিকেতনের পরিমণ্ডলে স্কুল জীবনে অনায়াস বেড়ে ওঠা । যৌবনে কলকাতা এসে আকাশবানী কলকাতার ঘোষক ও ঊপস্থাপনা এবং পাশাপাশি রেডিও নাটকে অভিনয়।
১৯৯০ সালে আ -বা -সা ( আঙ্গিক বাচিক সাত্বিক আহার্য) র একাডেমীর প্রশিক্ষক ও পরিচালক হিসেবে কাজ শুরু । রবীন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে নাট্য-বিভাগে পরিচালনা নিয়ে মাস্টার ডিগ্রী ও সরকারী " ভিডিওগ্রাফি" কোর্স শেষ করে বিভিন্ন ইলেক্ট্রনিক মিডিয়া তে দায়িত্বের সাথে প্রযোজক ও পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব পালন । কর্মক্ষেত্র বিচরণ ছিলো কোলকাতা দূরদর্শন -খাস খবর , ই টিভি, তারা টিভি এবং পরে সিটিভিএন , উত্তর বাংলা এবং সি এন নিউজ। পাশাপাশি রবীন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও শান্তিনিকেতন বিশ্বভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নাট্য বিভাগের সাথে যুক্ত হওয়া EXTERNAL EXAMIN-ER হিসেবে । প্রশিক্ষণ ,অনুষ্ঠান পরিবেশন ,ওয়ার্কশপ ও থিয়েটার পরিচালনা ও প্রযোজনায় ব্যস্ত । সম্প্রতি জীবনকৃতি পুরস্কার সম্মাননা প্রাপ্তি ২০২৫ সালে ( lifetime achievement award ) সম্মাননা জ্ঞাপণঃ সর্ব ভারতীয় সংগীত ও সংস্কৃতি পরিষদ ।

সম্পাদক ও কর্ণধার মধুছন্দা ভট্টাচার্য । জীবনের শুরু কলকাতার প্রখ্যাত নাট্যদল নান্দীকার এর হাত ধরে। বাচিক শিল্পে যার অনায়াস ও সাবলীল বিচরণ নামী দামী টেলিভিশন এর পর্দায়। যার সুচারু প্রশাসনে আ-বা-সা পল্লবিত বৃক্ষের মতো দশটি শাখায় বর্তমানে দেশে ও দেশের বাইরে সুনামের সাথে কাজ করে চলেছে । কবি ও বাচিক শিল্পী হিসেবে খুবই সুনামের সাথে অনুষ্ঠান পরিচালনা পরিবেশনায় মধুছন্দা বেশ সাবলীল ।ভারতে বিশেষ করে একজন কবি , থিয়েটার ব্যক্তিত্ব ও বাচিক শিল্পী হিসেবে সুপরিচিত একটি নাম মধুছন্দা ভট্টাচার্য ।
